Warnock, Assistant Professor in Art History, Emory University, establishes a fresh read of specific works by Fish, selected from sets / series of paintings from 1998 – 2011, including, among others, those from Entry; Living Rooms; and the recent Thresholds.

The theme of this year's annual gathering, The Architecture of Letterforms, is inspired by the work of American artist, designer and teacher Norman Ives (1923-1978) who studied under Josef Albers and Herbert Matter as a member of the inaugural class of the Yale Program In Graphic Design.
