Students were asked to make a project that foregrounded at least one sense in addition to or to the exception of sight. Stephanie Coventry-Martinez was inspired by the sense of touch and was influenced by the immersive environments of car-wash garages. The work also foregrounded the smell of the cloth as it rubbed against the skin of participants.
