Using QR codes, graffiti tactics and technology Brick Tags analyzes virtual and physical space to create a playful interaction between the two. With the further digitization of culture, virtual spaces can sometimes be as meaningful as physical spaces. Through the building of a wall in virtual space by scanning the QR, the empty space of the cityscape is filled and built up to create a new urban space within cyberspace, forming new interfaces with actual space. This interaction fosters a collective and collaborative effort between multiple people throughout multiple spaces without the person necessarily even knowing it. This is an ongoing project.
