Biography:
Matthew Gaynor has taught in graphic design programs at the University of Kansas, California State University San Bernadino, the University of Cincinnati for the last 18 years, and now at UIC, while also maintaining a freelance design practice focused on small corporate identity and various typographic projects. Prior to coming to UIC, Professor Gaynor was creative director at F & W Publications, an Ohio based company which publishes titles such as I-D and HOW magazines, as well as several book imprints.
