Biography:

Gary Minnix, who was the recipient of an NEA photography fellowship, holds a BFA from Bowling Green State University and an MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. While at Tyler he was involved in the editing and production of the photo periodical, Quiver, and other photo offset publications. His photographic and digital work has been widely shown, including in Photography: Invention and Innovation at the Art Institute of Chicago; Form as Content at the Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester, NY; American Color at New Mexico State University (and national tour); Light/Color at Ithaca College, NY; Independent American Photography at the Union of Polish Art Photographers, Warsaw; Virtual Reality at Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria; and the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago.
