Biography:
Philip Burton has taught at the University of Houston, Rice University and Yale University before coming to UIC and continues to lecture and teach around the country. From 1975-1996, he served as Program Coordinator and one of the core faculty of the Yale Summer Program in Graphic Design in Brissago, Switzerland. His freelance clients have included Brunswick Bowling; Long Island MacArthur Airport; Malayan Banking, Berhad; The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago; and the City of Chicago. Burton also works as a consultant for the Chicago-based financial investment research company, Morningstar, Inc.
He is a fellow of AIGA Chicago.
