Cormark is a global industry leader in the retail display and store fixture industry. We develop innovative merchandising programs for leading international retailers and brand marketers like Nike, Under Armour, Callaway Golf, Nintendo and Target. And Cormark is looking for a 2011 Summer Industrial Design Intern who wants to be part of the action first-hand in our Chicago area office! The ideal candidate will: � Be working toward a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design. � Have a strong knowledge about all steps of the creative process - from original ideation, sketching and rendering to presentation. � Be extremely creative and self motivated. � Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. � Be willing to learn in a highly participative environment. � Have an online portfolio displaying creativity and innovation. � Be proficient in 3D Max, Illustrator and Photoshop. � Have excellent strategic thinking and problem solving ability. � Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to wood, metal and plastic is a definite plus. � Proficiency in Rhinocerus and Solidworks is a plus.
